new digs and atlanta trip

so here we are...i ran out of storage on my other blog so i have migrated here to continue the blogging adventures of LIJT...and each time i think that i am just going to quit blogging altogether and just use facebook, i find myself hearing a narrative playing in my head and i just can't give it up. so who am i blogging for, really? is this for me? yes. and no. it's also for my kiddos, since i haven't successfully completed a scrapbook for them since they were babies. but this is also for you, dear reader--friend...family member...stranger...wait, why am i writing for strangers? yet i know how this goes--i read the blogs of strangers and then they aren't strangers any more. the connections i find from my life tho their lives i assume you are finding here on my blog--connecting your life to mine. so i'll keep this going a while longer...
we got my pointe shoes out the other night--the ones that i wore in college...before i had been pregnant with four children...before my feet grew a size. i could not get them on my feet but the girls enjoyed trying them out

then, last weekend we visited atlanta--to watch some braves games, visit the american girl store, stone mountain, and the georgia aquarium. a fun weekend, although i still had bronchitis and ty spiked a ridiculous fever on the friday night--surely the 107.7 i saw on the forehead scanner was a fluke, as that seems incompatible with life, but whatever it really was, it was HIGH! he rallied for the weekend but was still pretty puny...
the first MLB game for everyone...
miss lily LOVES her aunt hootie!

the dolls asleep in their "beds," resting up for their trip to the mother land in the morning

lily and emily, waiting for breakfast to arrive...
bella and her bitty baby, hannah

the girls enjoyed "feeding" their dolls as they sat in special chairs at the table

note the bubbles in the milk...manners have limits when a straw is involved :)

the whole crew at stone mountain...notice who is not cooperating
seriously if this little girl gets any cuter, i might pop

at the top of the mountain

now that's a handsome couple...looks like they've been married about ten years ;)

 lily and auntie dianne...

 our second game...

 those are piranhas...
 my favorite...the sea dragon
 in the penguin crawl

we ate lunch in the ballroom, which has a huge window to watch the belugas...ty looks thrilled

look at the size of the fish...

so this will be the new blog home...it might take me a little while to get it all cozy and home-like so stay tuned...cheers!
